Women's Track and Field Places Fourth at Blue Jay Tune Up

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- The Juniata women's track & field team placed fourth at the Elizabethtown Blue Jay Tune-Up meet.

In the hammer throw, Lauren Hahn (Doylestown, Pa, / CB West) placed second marking, 32.46m while Nandee Correia (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg HS) placed third marking, 31.48m. Hahn picked up another second place as she marked 33.88m in the javelin. In the shot put, Correia placed second throwing, 10.42m. In the discus, Hahn placed third (32.25m). 

In the high jump, Maggie Taylor (Madison Lake, Minn. / Mankato East) placed eighth marking, 1.30m. Taylor placed fifth in the triple jump marking, 8.97m. 

In the 1500m, Emily Vogt (Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield Warde HS) finished fifth coming in with a time of 6:05.32. In the 100m, Lydia Hiller (Warfordsburg, Pa. / Southern Fulton Jr./Sr. HS) finished fifth with a time of 13.62 while Sabrina Kelly (Gilberstville, Pa. / Boyertown Area HS) finished 11th with a time of 15.54. In the 200m, Hiller finished fourth (27.76) and Kelly finished 12th (33.09). 

The Eagles will travel to Susquehanna, May 8th as they compete in Landmark Conference Championships.
