LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Juniata women's track & field field team closed out day two of the Bison Open & Multi, Saturday.
In the 500m run, Julia Freimuth (York, Pa. / Cedar Cliff HS) finished sixth coming in with a time of 1:26.69 and Jessica Aragon (Bridgeport, Conn. / Bridgeport Central HS) finished 11th with a time of 1:33.04. In the 1000m run, Mellanie Barnes (Chicago, Ill. / Holy Trinity (Ill.)) finished 6th crossing the line at 3:33.42. In the 60m dash, Holly Caldwell (Milford, Conn. / Jonathan Law) finished 25th with a time of 9.03.
In the 4x400m relay, the team of Barnes, Freimuth, Aragon, and Caldwell finished 12th with a time of 4:42.24.
In the field, Lauren Hahn (Doylestown, Pa, / CB West) placed 27th in the weight throw marking 9.62m.
Juniata returns to the track February 15th as they will compete in the Susquehanna Invitational.
