SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Juniata women's track & field team opened their indoor season at the River Hawks Opener hosted by Susquehanna University, Saturday.
In the shot put, Lauren Hahn (Doylestown, Pa, / CB West) took second place, throwing 11.00m and Marylauren Davignon (Huntingdon, Pa. / Huntingdon Area) placed 17th marking 8.08m. Hahn's shot put throw moves her fourth all-time in the Juniata record book.
In the weight throw, Davignon placed 17th marking 8.23m while Hahn placed 19th marking 8.16m.
In the 60m dash, Holly Caldwell (Milford, Conn. / Jonathan Law) finished 12th with a time of 9.25. In the 5000m run, Rebecca Herwig (Somerset, Pa. / Somerset Area HS) finished fifth with an indoor personal best time of 20:28.08. In the 200m dash, Caldwell finished 20th with an indoor personal best time of 31.37.
The team returns after the new year on January 18th as they compete in the SU Orange & Maroon Classic held at Susquehanna.
