HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The women's tennis team dropped to conference opponent Susquehanna 8-1 Wednesday afternoon at Raffensperger Courts.

In doubles play, Immy Ramsdale and May Nhu Nguyen were swept 0-8 in second doubles, while Laura Julien and Olivia Cooley were blanked 0-8 in third doubles. Marta Celebic and Maggie Ackley dropped 4-8 in first doubles.

In second singles play, Ackley gained the only point for the Eagles, winning in second singles 6-4, 6-3. In first singles, Celebic dropped 0-6, 0-6 while Ramsdale lost 0-6, 0-6 in third singles, and Julien fell 0-6, 2-6 in fourth singles. Nguyen was swept 0-6, 0-6 in fifth singles, and Cooley dropped her matchup 1-6, 3-6.

The Eagles host Goucher this Saturday, April 22, at 1:00 pm and will honor their senior class.
