WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Juniata women's tennis team was swept 9-0 by Catholic on Monday evening.

In doubles play, Marta Celebic and Laura Julien lost 8-0 in first doubles. The team of Olivia Cooley and Immy Ramsdale fell 8-1 in second doubles.

In singles play, Celebic was swept in first singles, 0-6, 0-6, while Ramsdale was blanked 0-6, 0-6 in second singles. Julien fell 0-6, 0-6 in third singles, and May Nhu Nguyen lost 0-6, 0-6 in fourth singles. Battling it out in fifth singles, Cooley fell 8-3 against her Cardinal opponent.

The Eagles host Susquehanna this Wednesday, April 19, for a 3:30 start.
