MADISON, N.J. – The Juniata women's tennis team visited Drew on Saturday afternoon for a conference match, falling 9-0 against the hosts.
The team of Maggie Ackley and Marta Celebic was swept 8-0 in first doubles, while Olivia Cooley and Immy Ramsdale got points on the board but ultimately lost 8-2 in second doubles.
In singles play, Laura Julien was beaten 6-0, 6-0 in third singles, and Ackley fell 6-0, 6-0 in first singles. Celebic lost in fourth singles 8-0 and Ramsdale fell 8-0 in fifth singles.
The women's tennis team travels to Scranton tomorrow, March 26, for a 1:00 pm start.
