TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's soccer standout Savanna Murray was named Landmark Athlete of the Week after she netted four goals across two wins. Juniata defeated Penn State Altoona 2-0 during the week and Notre Dame (Md.) (8-0) this past Saturday.
Murray scored in the second half of the 2-0 win over PSU Altoona to double the Eagle lead and provide an insurance goal Juniata ultimately didn't need as they notched the shutout.
The junior attacker stepped it up in the next match, striking three times in six minutes to notch her first career hat trick as she opened the floodgates for the Eagles' eventual 8-0 win.
Juniata will return to action at home this Wednesday against Alvernia at 7:30.
