State College, Pa.- Women's golf took on Penn State's White Course on day two of the Pennsylvania. After finishing with a 418 on day one, the Eagles improved by 25 shots on day two, shooting 393 in challenging conditions. They finished in eighth place after a strong showing on day two.
Molly Schweitzer took charge today for the Eagles shooting a team best 94, complete with six pars on the day. Schweitzer finished in a tie for 34th place out of 51 golfers with a combined score of 199 through 36 holes of play.
Lily Stewart had a rebound round today, shooting 96, good for a 12-shot improvement on day one of the tournament. Stewart finished tied for 38th place after snagging a birdie on the 405-yard par five 18th hole.
Madeline Bainey brought home an even 100 after 18 holes of play on day two. Bainey improved by four shots and sits in a tie for 38th place with a nice par on the 18th hole.
Kylee Marshall finishes tied for 38th place, shooting 103. She brought in a solid finish with a par on the 161-yard, par three, 16th hole.
Sandy Milby rounded out the Eagles today shooting a 110 improving by one shot on the previous day. Milby finished in a solo 45th place with a combined 221 through 36 holes of play.
The Eagles will return to action this Thursday, April 3rd, at the Elizabethtown Spring Invitational at Hershey Country Club. They will tee off at 12:00 PM.
