DELAWARE, Pa.- The Juniata women's golf team improved their Landmark Conference Fall Preview day one score by two strokes, posting a 404 on the second day and a combined score of 810 to maintain fifth place as the tournament concluded on Sunday.
For the second consecutive day, Juniata took to the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort, a par 72 course.
Juniata was again represented by Sofia Amoroso, Lily Stewart, Alyssa Mostick, Kylee Marshall, and Sandy Milby.
Amoroso again led the way for the Eagles, finishing in ninth place from the 36-player field, improving her day one score from 90 to 89 for a combined score of 89. Stewart finished with a 98 for the second consecutive day, and her total score of 196 earned her 16th place. Mostick followed up 107 on the first day with 108 on the second, for a combined score of 215, putting her in a tie for 24th. Marshall concluded Juniata's day two team score with a 109, a two-stroke improvement on day one that earned her 27th overall. Milby's day two score was 121 for an overall tally of 238 to earn 30th place.
The conclusion of the Landmark Fall Preview marked the end of the fall season for the Juniata women's golf team. The team's full spring schedule is to be determined, but the spring Landmark Conference Championship is set for a return to the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort on Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28.
