HERSHEY, Pa,- The Juniata women's golf team opened up their season, Tuesday afternoon at the Elizabethtown Fall Invitational. The women finished fourth overall with a total score of 387, the lowest score in program history.
Sofia Amoroso (West Chester, Pa./-) tied for fourth with a score of 82, which is the lowest individual score in program history. Emily Dowler (Rochester, N.Y. / Brighton) finished 18th with a score of 100, and Claire Alfree (Mercersburg, Pa. / James Buchanan HS) finished 19th with a score of 102, Demma Franklin (Lewistown, Pa. / Mifflin County HS) finished 20th with a score of 103 and Ellie Miller (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Mechanicsburg) finished 21st with a score of 108.
The Eagles will compete in the Penn St.-Altoona Invitational, Saturday, September 21st at 1:00 pm.
