Two PR's Set by Men's Cross Country at Aubrey Shenk Invite

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Juniata men's cross-country team raced in their fourth eight-kilometer event of the 2022 season in the Aubey Shenk Invitational on Saturday morning, with both Ellis Kline and Max Scott improving their personal records.  

Kline led the way for Juniata with a time of 29:26.5 to finish 106th out of 176 competitors. He reduces his previous best of 29:38.1 set at the Lebanon Valley-hosted Dutchmen Invite in September. Scott was only seconds behind, as he finished in 29:28.0 to finish 108th overall. Scott reduces his previous record by 21 seconds after setting a 29:49.4 at last week's Coach Caslin Classic at Goucher. 

The men's cross country team next competes in the Landmark Conference Cross Country Championship at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 29. Goucher hosts the event that will serve as the fifth 8K race of the year for Juniata.
