Men's Cross Country Team and Three Runners Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La.- Juniata men's cross country and Vinnie Caroselli (Upland, Pa. / Milton Hershey), Peter D'Amico (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey HS), and Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y. / Homer Senior High) earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors.

Overall, there were 172 men's teams that received All-Academic honors in NCAA Division III. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers. This fall the men's team earned a cumulative GPA of 3.41.

Overall, there were 309 men who were named All-Academic Individuals in NCAA Division III. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet. At the NCAA Mideast Regionals, Ulrich finished 39th (25:54.1), Caroselli finished 42nd (25:58.5), and D'Amico finished 68th (26:22.6). As a team the Eagles finished 11th overall.
