Dimond, Kopera and Collado Receive All-Conference Honors

TOWSON, Md. – Three Juniata cross country runners received All-Landmark honors at the conclusion of the 2015 Landmark Conference Championship held on Sat., Oct. 31.

Junior Conor Dimond (Summerhill, Pa. / Forest Hills) was named to Second Team after finishing 14th in the championship race with a time of 28:00.64. Dimond was the top finisher for the Eagles this fall and ran a season best time of 26:32.1 at the Lock Haven Invitational on Sept. 26. 

Sophomore Allyson Kopera (Hastings, Pa. / Northern Cambria) and freshman Yannibel Collado (Freeport, N.Y. / Milton Hershey) were also named to Second Team. Kopera finished the championship race in 10th place with a time of 23:57.64. She was the top finisher for the team this fall and ran a season best at the Lock Haven Invitational on Sept. 26 with a time of 23:01.8. Kopera also earned Second Team honors in 2014 as a freshman.

Collado finished the race in 14th with a time of 24:29.61. She consistently placed amongst the team's top finishers throughout the fall and ran a season best of 23:37.3 at the Lock Haven Invitational on Sept. 26. 

These Eagles and their teammates will return to action in regional competition in the coming weeks.
