Lock Haven, Pa., The Juniata College men's and women's cross country teams ran in the 12^th annual Lock Haven Invitational this past weekend. The women placed 12^th, while the men finished just shy of the top five at 6^th.

Freshman Allyson Kopera (Hastings, PA / Northern Cambria) was the top finisher for the women, completing the race in 23:17.8 to claim the 18^th overall spot. Vanessa Hurst (Ephrata Pa. / Ephrata) and Courtney Peterson (York, Pa. / York) finished in the top half for Juniata running times of 25:21.4 and 24:50.6 respectively.

Matt Guetzlaff (Schnecksville, Pa. / Parkland) ran a 26:12.3 time to claim the 16^th spot for the Eagles. Stephen Park (State College, Pa. / State College) just missed a top 25 finish, coming in 26^th at 26:37.3. Overall, the men had seven runners finish in the top half of the field.

The Eagles continue the season on October 11^th, as they compete at the Goucher Classic in Towson, Maryland.
