Men's Volleyball Places Four on CVC All-Conference Team

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's volleyball team had four players named to the Continental Volleyball All-Conference team that was announced this evening. 

Kevin Duffy III (Carlisle, Pa. / Carlisle HS) was named to the CVC All-Conference first team, his third time making the team in his career. Duffy leads the conference in hitting percentage (.465), which is also the sixth-best in the country. He was second in the conference in solo blocks, fifth in block assists (59), tied for second in total blocks, seventh in blocks per set, and seventh in total points at 303.5.  

Tyler Goldsborough (Reading, Pa. / Exeter Township HS) makes his second appearance on a CVC All-Conference team, as he made the third team last year. The sophomore was third in the conference in kills at 296, led the CVC in service aces at 44, and was third in aces per set at .45. His 44 service aces are the fourth-most in a season in program history. He was second in points at 360.0 and eighth in points per set at 3.7. He was also sixth in the conference in total digs at 143. Goldsborough also made the CVC All-Tournament team for his strong play in helping the Eagles reach the CVC semifinals. 

Luke Hoffman (Reading, Pa. / Exeter Township HS) joined his fellow Exeter Township alum on the CVC All-Conference second team. He finished second in the conference in hitting percentage at .428, which is also 15th best in the country. He was fourth in the conference in both solo blocks at 15 and block assists at 64. 

Will Phelan (Saegertown, Pa. / Saegertown HS) was named to the CVC All-Conference third team after another strong campaign at outside for the Eagles. He was tenth in the CVC in kills 227 and 10th  in total points at 259. He was ninth in hitting percentage at .306 and ninth in digs with 135. 

Juniata stands at 26-6, which is the third-most wins in program history.
