PRINCETON, N.J. – Facing its fourth NCAA Division I opponent this year, the No. 8 Juniata men's volleyball team fought hard, but fell 3-1 on the road Tuesday night in Dillon Gym.  Juniata (22-11) has taken games from each of the Division I opponents its faced this season except one.  Princeton improved to 12-8 with the win.

Junior Alex McColgin (Buffalo, N.Y./Hamburg) had a great day at the net.  He finished with a match-high 20 kills after hitting .405 from the floor.  Freshman Chad Albert (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) was incredibly accurate and deadly at the net as well.  He earned five kills on six swings with zero errors for a .833 hitting percentage.

Juniata now prepares for the Continental Volleyball Conference Championships this weekend.  As the No. 1 seed in the East Division, the Eagles earned a bye in the first round and will play in the first semifinal match on Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m.  They will face the winner of Thiel/Carthage.  Juniata is 1-1 against Thiel this season and lost to Carthage in five when they met on Feb. 8.
