Eagles Compete on Day Two of 2025 YSU Mid Major Invitational

Youngstown, OH- The Juniata men's track and field team returned for day two of the 2025 YSU Mid Major Invitational on Saturday. 

A cadre of Eagles competed in the 60m led by Isaiah Huffstutler in 41st (7.39). He was followed by Mandel Edelin in 47th (7.42), Ivan Foreman in 86th (7.93) Sean Buckley in 89th (8.26) and Korre Rider in 90th (8.76). 

Deric Fritzges was 25th in the 60m hurdles 9.18, while JJ Asante-Ansong was 32nd (9.44). 

Edelin was 66th (24.44) while setting a PR in the 200m hurdles while Huffstutler was 74th (24.80).  

Lincoln Riddle led the Eagles in the 400m (51.32), Caleb Massare (53.93) was 34th, Dalton Yohn took 37th (54.27), Fritzges was 44th (55.50), while Braden Barrick crossed 62nd (59.43), setting a PR.  

Josh Wilson was 30th in the 800m (2:05.49), as he set a PR.  

Adam Gallo was the first Eagle to finish in the 3000m, taking 37th with a PR (9:22.91), Conrad Coffey was 45th with a PR of his own (9:33.11), McClain Reamer was right behind in 46th (9:33.22), while Clark Gaynor was 62nd (10:03.08).

Edelin claimed 32nd in the long jump (5.89m) while Massare was next in 33rd (5.76). 

Spencer Siegel snagged an eighth-place finish in the shot put (13.20m), Logan Hackenberg was 47th (9.25m), Talbot Reed-Jaquay was 50th (9.04m) and Noah Rice was 51st (8.95m). 

Juniata had two teams in the 4x400m relay, as Riddle, Wilson, Fritzges and Massare ran a season's best 3:34.95 to take seventh. Yohn, Huffstutler, Edelin and Jake Alexander finished 12th (3:46.42). 

The Eagles return to Franklin and Marshall for another meet next Saturday February 8th
