Men's Swimming Claims Victory at Moravian

Bethlehem, Pa.- On the men's side, Juniata's swimmers had a strong showing, particularly in the relays and individual races.

The Juniata men's team triumphed in the 200-yard medley relay, with the team of Will Dovey, Isaac March, Kevin Bowser, and Max Baronner finishing first with a time of 1:57.68.

In the 1000-yard freestyle, Marshall Radonovich led the Eagles with a first-place finish, clocking in at 11:08.33. Juniata's Jay Gajiwala also placed third with a time of 13:58.05.

In the 200-yard freestyle, Christian Rota placed first for the Eagles with a time of 2:04.13, while Jim Oster finished second at 2:14.00.

Bowser and Baronner continued to dominate in their individual races. In the 200-yard IM, Baronner took first place with a time of 2:18.49, while in the 200-yard butterfly, Bowser finished first with a time of 2:34.59.

In the 100-yard freestyle, Dovey emerged victorious with a time of 57.53, with his teammate Gajiwala following in second at 1:00.82.

Rota also had a standout performance in the 500-yard freestyle, taking second place with a time of 5:42.43, while Oster claimed third at 6:13.94.

In the 200-yard breaststroke, Baronner finished first with a time of 2:36.69.

In the final event of the day, the 200-yard freestyle relay, the team of Radonovich, Oster, Tiernan, and Rota finished first with a time of 1:42.62, securing the win for the Eagles.

The Eagles dive back into competition next Friday for the Cougar Splash at Misericordia.
