CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. – The men's swimming team got their second consecutive win of the season, beating Immaculata 97-74 on the road Saturday afternoon.
The team of Marshall Radonovich , Max Baronner, Will Dovey, and Christian Rota were the lonesome team in the 200-yard medley relay. Claiming the free first-place finish, the Eagles clocked a time of 1:55.66.
Jim Oster and Jay Gajiwala placed second and third in the 1000-yard freestyle with times of 13:27.57 and 14:10.50.
Radonovich claimed second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.73.
The 50-yard freestyle saw three JC swimmers. Rota claimed first with a time of 24.54, Kevin Bowser placed third with a time of 26.35, and Matthew Tiernan claimed fourth with a time of 36.38.
Dovey placed second in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:29.24.
Bowser and Gajiwala placed second and third in the 100-yard butterfly with times of 1:01.83 and 1:12.06.
The 100-yard freestyle saw Baronner claim first with a time of 54.09 and Isaac March finish third with a time of 1:02.18.
Three Eagles swam in the 100-yard breaststroke. Rota finished in second with a time of 1:05.02, Dovey claimed third with a time of 1:09.49, and Tiernan placed fourth with a time of 1:14.55.
With a time of 5:16.15, Radonovich finished first in the 500-yard freestyle. Oster claimed a third-place finish with a time of 6:23.55.
March placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:24.71.
The JC 200-yard freestyle relay consisted of Bowser, Gakiwala, Tiernan, and March. The team placed second in the event with a time of 1:45.33.
The Eagles return home to host Franciscan and Marywood next Saturday for a tri-meet at 1:00 pm.
