New Wilmington, Pa.- The Juniata men's soccer team earned a draw against Westminster College, 1-1, Saturday afternoon.
Jayden Gaynor scored the tying goal for the Eagles.
The Titans broke through in the third minute as the Eagles found themselves in an early hole.
Juniata controlled the rest of the half as they fired eight shots, putting four on frame, but the Titans held them at bay, as JC trailed 1-0 at the break.
Less than a minute into the second half, Gaynor was first to a headed ball in front of goal and jabbed it into the net to bring Juniata even.
Juniata managed seven shots the rest of the game but couldn't find a winner.
The Eagles will return home to open the year against Marymount on Tuesday at 6:00.
