River Hawks Subdue Eagles

River Hawks Subdue Eagles

SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Juniata men's lacrosse team suffered a 26-3 loss on the road at Susquehanna Wednesday afternoon at Sassafras Field.

The River Hawks scored the opening goals of the game in the first 36 seconds as they quickly built a two-goal advantage. Jack M Loucks (Toronto, Canada / Minden) got one back for the Eagles off an Aiden Duran assist while JC was a man-up.

Susquehanna unleashed an 18-goal run on Juniata, which spanned the rest of the first, all of the second quarter, and into the third as Kolton Black's (Mount Airy, Md. / South Carroll) goal midway through the third made it 20-2.

The River Hawks added another six over the final two quarters, with Loucks scoring the final goal of the game in the final 21 seconds.

Justin Toney (Westminster, Md. / Winters Mill) made seven saves in goal for JC, with Ryan Madison (Wilmington, Del. / Conrad School of Science) substituting in and making seven saves himself over the final 40 minutes of the game.

Juniata will host conference leaders Catholic Saturday at 1:00.
