Men's Golf A Team Starts Cardinal Fall Classic in Fifth

HAGERSTOWN, Md.- One of three Juniata men's golf teams playing this weekend competed in day one of the Cardinal Fall Classic from the par 72 Black Rock Golf Course on Saturday.

The Eagles' top team deployed for the weekend comprised Benjamin Pintof, Kyle Rittersbach, Harrison Levithan, Kamden Clapper, and Ethan Brown. Levithan had the team's best score on the first day with a 72. Pintof logged another competitive score for Juniata following his program-record 69 at the Hershey Country Club East Course earlier in the week. He ended today with a 74.

Rittersbach was next for Juniata with a 78, while the team score was completed by Clapper's 82. Brown finished the first day with a 90.

Juniata marked the day with the team's best one-day team score with a 306. The team's previous best was set at last year's Cardinal Fall Classic with a 318 on the second day of that tournament. They stand in fifth place of ten teams logging a score.

The Eagles conclude the Cardinal Fall Classic tomorrow with tee times beginning at 10:00 a.m.
