Huntingdon, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team dropped a 4-0 decision to visiting Dickinson College in nonconference action Saturday afternoon at Knox Stadium.
Amanda Puza made four saves in goals for the Eagles, while Kara Stringfellow made one.
Dickinson struck twice in the first quarter. Both goals saw them race down the wing, play the ball in, and put the ball in the Eagle cage.
The teams were scoreless in the second quarter, as Juniata trailed 2-0 at the half. Juniata managed four shots in the second quarter, with Lillian Case forcing the Red Devil keeper to make two saves.
The visitors scored two more in the third quarter, with the final goal coming off a corner. They crossed it from the left wing, and another Red Devil jabbed at the ball to elevate it into the top right corner.
Juniata returns to action next Saturday at home against Catholic at 1:00.
