Will Lawing returns for his fourth season on the Juniata sidelines, and his second as the program’s offensive coordinator. Lawing previously served as the team’s passing game coordinator in 2010, and coached the Eagle tight ends in 2009.
In Lawing’s first season as offensive coordinator, Juniata nearly doubled its scoring average while implementing a brand new offensive scheme with a freshman quarterback at the helm.
Lawing will also continue to serve as Juniata's recruiting
coordinator.
Lawing joined the Juniata football staff from the University of
South Carolina, where he was an on-field assistant during the
Gamecocks' 2008 pre-season.
A December 2008 graduate of the University of North Carolina, with
a bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science, Lawing was a
four-year member of the UNC football team. He was active in Habitat
for Humanity, Athletes in Action, and the UNC Campus Y.
