HUNTINGDON, Pa- Juniata football player Hunter Wolfley was selected as the Juniata Men's Athlete of the Month for the month of September, as voted upon by members of the athletic department.
Wolfley was unstoppable in the month of September, rushing for 657 yards, including two games of over 200 yards and one game over 100. He added three multi-touchdown games, including one with four. He had two rushing touchdowns of 70+ yards as well. His second touchdown late in the third quarter against Hartwick tied the game at 23, on their way to a 37-30 victory.
The senior running back currently sits fourth in the nation in rushing yards at 692.

This academic year, we will be introducing the Juniata Athlete of the Month recognition as voted upon by the athletic department. Athletes are only allowed to win once per academic year. The purpose of these awards is to recognize the hardwork and effort of our student-athletes.
