CENTERVILLE, Mass. – After being named Landmark Conference Player of the Week on Monday, senior Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) earned Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Athlete of the Week, the league announced Wednesday evening.
Woods won the 5000 meter run on Saturday in a new Juniata College record time of 17:35.56, breaking the record she set last season by over twenty seconds. This time ranks Woods 10th in all of NCAA Division III so far this season and third all-time in the Landmark.
Juniata travels to Frostburg State University this Saturday to compete at the Bobcat Invitational beginning at 10:30 a.m.
