Woods Named Player of the Week, Women’s Outdoor Track

TOWSON, Md. – Senior Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) was named Landmark Conference outdoor track player of the week for her record setting performance at Susquehanna's Jim Taylor Invitational, the league announced Monday afternoon.

 

Woods won the 5000 meter run on Saturday in a new Juniata College record time of 17:35.56, breaking her record from the 2013 season by over twenty seconds. This time ranks Woods first in the Landmark and 10th in all of NCAA Division III so far this season.

 

Woods and the Eagles return to action at the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Frostburg State University on Saturday, April 5 beginning at 10:30 a.m.
