HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata women's tennis team hosted Saint Vincent College Monday afternoon at Raffensperger Courts but were swept 9-0 by the Bearcats.
The duo of Marta Celebic and Laura Julien were blanked 0-8 in second doubles, while Maggie Ackley and Immy Ramsdale lost 2-8 in first doubles.
In singles play, May Nhu Nguyen lost 0-6, 0-6 in fifth singles while Ackley fell 0-6, 0-6. Celebic was beaten 1-6, 1-6 in third singles, while Ramsdale battled in second singles, but ultimately lost 4-6, 6-2, 8-10. Julien was swept 0-6, 0-6.
The Eagles travel to Catholic Saturday, April 15, for a 3:00 pm start
