HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The women's tennis team finished up their back-to-back conference matches, taking the loss against Elizabethtown, 8-1, Sunday afternoon at Raffensperger Courts.
The team of Laura Julien and May Nhu Nguyen lost 0-8 in second doubles, while Maggie Ackley and Immy Ramsdale were defeated 4-8 in first doubles.
Ackley was victorius in first singles, beating her opponent 6-4, 6-1. In third and fourth singles, Julien and Nguyen were beaten 0-6, 0-6, and 0-6, 0-6, respectively. Ramsdale fell 1-6, 1-6 in second singles.
The women's tennis team takes on Westminster (Pa.) next Saturday, April 8, for a 1:00 pm start.
