HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Juniata College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Elizabethtown College on Sunday, in the squad's opening match of its 2012 spring break trip.

Juniata junior Stacie Beegle (Schellsburg, Pa./Chestnut Ridge) had Juniata's strongest effort of the afternoon, taking the Blue Jays' Allison Burkhardt to three sets at No. 3 singles before falling, 6-1, 4-6, 10-5.

The Eagles' spring break schedule continues on Monday when Juniata faces Trine University at 11:30 a.m.
