TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's golf graduate student Sofia Amoroso earned Landmark Conference All-Conference Second Team honors following her performance in this weekend's Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championships from the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort. 

Amoroso earned a Second-Team slot after finishing the weekend in 11th with a score of 176, shooting an 89 on day one and an 87 on day two. Her strongest stretch of the weekend saw her sink five straight pars on the front nine on day two, going +5 on the front nine. 

It's her third Second Team appearance after placing ninth in 2023 and tying for tenth in 2021. She was the medalist in the 2019-20 Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championships. With the pandemic impacting the spring championship date, results reverted to the 2019 Landmark Fall Preview, where Amoroso won the event with a one-day score of 86. 

The Juniata women's golf team earned seventh place with a team score of 818 across the two days, as Drew University hosted this year's Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championships.
