TOWSON, MD – The Juniata women's basketball team was picked sixth in the 2015 Landmark Conference Preseason Poll. The Eagles received 29 votes to edge out Drew (21), Merchant Marine (11) and Goucher (9).

The Catholic Cardinals received top honors with 72 points and five first place votes. D3Hoops recently gave the defending conference champions a No. 16 national ranking.

Last year, Juniata finished sixth in the conference with a 6-10 record in Landmark play.

The Eagles begin their 2015-16 season at the McDaniel Tip-Off Tournament with a game against Mt. Aloysius Nov. 14 at 6pm. Their first home game is Wednesday Nov. 18 against Frostburg State at 7pm.
