Men's Cross Country Set Four 8K PRs at Aubrey Shenk Invite

GETTYSBURG, Pa.- The Juniata men's cross country team logged their third 8K time of the fall the Aubrey Shenk Invitational on Saturday morning. Four Eagles set new personal bests for the eight-kilometer event. 

Conrad Coffey had the team's best pace, finishing in 77th place from a field of 264 with a time of 27:20.1. Max Scott had the next-best time with a 28:41.5 to finish in 147th place with a new personal record. Ellis Kline was a few spots back in 155th place with a personal best of 28:49.6. Both senior runners previously set their PRs at last year's Mid-Atlantic Regionals at Lock Haven in November. They both crossed the line in 29:15.1 on that day.  

Augie Secco also set a PR with a 28:58.7 to finish 160th. He previously set a 30:29.7 at last week's DeSales Invitational. Gavin Robb also had a personal best with a 29:40.5 to finish in 184th. He also set a PR last week, a 29:56.5. 

Juniata finished the event in 22nd place. 

The Juniata men's cross country team returns to competition in two weeks' time as Juniata hosts the Landmark Conference Cross Country Championships at the Sunset Golf Club on Friday, October 27.
