Men's Volleyball Places Three on the AVCA All-Region Team

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's volleyball team Exeter Township trio all made the AVCA Region III All-Region team, as Reese Ganter, Tyler Goldsborough, and Luke Hoffman each made their second career appearance. 

Ganter makes his second appearance on the team, he was on the team as a first-year when he was honored as the AVCA All-Region Newcomer of the Year. Ganter is averaging the third-most assists per set in Division III men's volleyball (10.53), and he is guiding the Eagles offense to the eighth-best hitting percentage (.313) in DIII and the second-best in the CVC. Earlier this season, Ganter eclipsed 3000 career assists against Marymount in March, the program's sixth setter to achieve the mark.  

Goldsborough makes his second appearance on the all-region team, having made the team last season. He ended the regular season with the second-most aces per set (0.53), third-most kills per set (3.49), and fifth-best hitting percentage (.330) in the CVC. The 0.53 aces per set is 20th in DIII men's volleyball. Against Marymount in March, he hit his 1000th career kill, while against Wilkes earlier this, he surpassed Tim Shawaryn '98's 142 career aces to set a new Juniata program record, and he sits at 52 aces on the year.

Hoffman makes his second consecutive appearance on the team. He leads the CVC in hitting percentage (.422), is second in blocks per set (0.97), and ranks eighth in aces per set (0.40). His .422 hitting percentage is tenth in Division III, while his .91 blocks per set is the 22nd-best rate in Division III men's volleyball.
