Duffy Named AVCA First Team All-America

LEXINGTON, Ky.- The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is proud to announce its 18th Annual NVA/AVCA Men's Division III All-America Teams, with Juniata standout Kevin Duffy (Carlisle, Pa. / Carlisle HS) being named First Team All-America. 

Duffy racked up the accolades this season, being named Continental Volleyball Conference Player of the Year and making the all-conference first team. He also was named to the AVCA East All-Region team. 

It is his second appearance on the All-America list; he was named honorable mention last season. He made the AVCA All-Region team last year and made the CVC all-conference first team last season and the third team as a freshman. He is the 25th First Team All-American in program history.  

Duffy is currently first in the country in hitting percentage and second in the country in blocks per set. In the CVC, he led the conference in hitting percentage  (.479), solo blocks (14), block assists (51), total blocks (65), and blocks per set (1.23). He was third in the CVC in total kills (139) and fourth in points (194). 

The Juniata men's volleyball team finished the season 13-3, 7-1 in the CVC conference, and advanced to the CVC Championship Game.
