LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Juniata men's track & field team closed out the second day of the Bucknell Bison Open & Multi on Saturday.
In the field, Thayer Phillips (Cuddy, Pa. / South Fayette) placed 22nd in the shot put marking 12.42m.
In the mile, Alexander Jones (Burlington, N.J. / Burlington Township) (4:32.00), Peter D'Amico (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey) (4:37.81), Erik Juengling (Lancaster, Pa. / J.P. McCaskey) (4:49.63), and Jeremy Rissler (New Holland, Pa. / Garden Spot) (4:56.18) finished 10th, 12th, 18th, and 21st, respectively. In the 60m dash, Noah Zolnak (Altoona, Pa. / Altoona Area HS) finished 35th coming in with a time of 7.76. In the 400m dash, Siddiq Smouse (Claysburg, Pa. / Claysburg-Kimmel) finished 31st coming in with a time of 59.29.
In the 500m, Evan MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass. / Saint John's Prep HS) finished eighth with a time of 1:12.82. In the 1000m, Jones finished fifth with a time of 2:40.85. In the 3000m, Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y. / Homer) finished sixth with a time of 9:04.24. In the 4x400m relay, the team of D'Amico, MacMullin, Zolnak, and Smouse finished 13th crossing the line at 3:53.86.
Juniata returns to the track February 15th as they will compete in the Susquehanna Invitational.
