Men's Tennis Tied for Second in Landmark Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata men's tennis team is tied for second with Drew in this year's Landmark Conference preseason poll.

After falling to Scranton in last year's semifinal match, the Eagles bring back three returners. Among the returners, the Eagles bring back sophomore, Landmark All-Conference first teamer and Landmark Rookie of the Year, Ilia Buralkin (Moscow, Russia / -). Last season Buralkin, went 10-3 at No. 1 singles and 8-4 in doubles. The other two returners that Juniata brings back are sophomores, Robert Singer (Olney, Md. / Sherwood HS) and Seth Strawser (Richfield, Pa. / Juniata HS).  Last season, Singer went 3-3 overall in singles and 2-0 overall in doubles while Strawser went 1-0 in singles and 5-5 in doubles overall. 

The Eagles will face St. Francis (Pa.) in an exhibition match this Sunday February 16th at 6:30 pm.
