Mona and Ginder Claim Multiple First Place Finishes in Loss Against Immaculata

MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- The Juniata men's swim team dropped a close meet with Immaculata at Millersville, Saturday afternoon, The Eagles fell, 82-70.

Hunter Mona (State College, Pa. / State College Area) took first in the 1000 freestyle as he touched the wall at 10:34.59. In the 200 freestyle, Fred Ginder (Victor, N.Y. / Victor Senior High School) claimed first with a time of 1:55.86 while Evan Walker (Versailles, Pa. / East Allegheny) finished third with a time of 2:03.62. Ginder took another first place as he clocked in at 23.59 in the 50 freestyle. In the 100 freestyle, Ginder took first coming in with a time of 52.31 and Walker finished close behind with a time of 54.85.

Mona took yet another first place as he came in with a time of 2:08.52 in the 200 backstroke. Walker finished first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:01.57. Mona finished first in the 400 IM with a season best time of 4:30.06. 

Mona and Ginder both finished first in all three of their individual events.
