2013 (Senior): Named team co-captain… started all 22 games of the season at the center back position… critical to the Juniata back line playing every minute of every game… scored his second career goal on an unassisted free-kick against Pitt-Bradford (9/22).

2012 (Junior): Proved to be a key asset to the Eagle’s defense in his junior season ... started all 18 matches of the season ... produced one goal and one assist for his third season ... fought past the Thiel (9/1) defenders to score an unassisted goal late in the second half.

2011 (Sophomore): Started 12 matches at defense  ... contributed to a defense that held opponents to just 18 goals, significantly less than Juniata has allowed in the previous four seasons.

2010 (Freshman): Started in 17 of 18 matches he played in as a freshman ... was a member of the defensive unit which shutout the most teams in Juniata history.

High School: Started all four years of high school as a defender ... a three-time team most valuable player ... Express Times First-Team All-Area in 2009 ... second in career scoring at Bangor High School ... awarded Merit Club Male Athlete of the Year in his senior season, where he was captain.

Personal: Son of Faust and Karen Ruggiero ... POE is communications.
