Three Juniata honorees chosen as Landmark Players of the Week

Men's Cross Country:
Ceth Parker was the top finisher for Juniata at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational this past weekend. The junior set a new personal best over an 8,000-meter course, running a time of 26:13.70 to place 16th at the race. The time was more than 37 seconds faster than his previous best 8K time and would have ranked as one of the 10 fastest in the conference in all of last season.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Senior Katie Young anchored the Juniata defense to help the team collect a pair of non-conference wins this week. The Eagles posted their second-straight shutout with a 1-0 win over St. Vincent in midweek, limiting the opponent to just a pair of shots in 90 minutes. Young then played a key role as Juniata rallied for a 2-1 victory over rival Elizabethtown, as the team surrendered five shots on goal.

Volleyball:
Libby Morrison was named the Most Valuable Player at the Nazareth Invitational as Juniata remained unbeaten with five wins last week. The junior libero led the Juniata defense with 71 digs over the week, averaging 5.92 digs per set, while also contributing eight aces and committing just a pair of receive errors. She had a high of 23 digs in a win over Heidelburg and added 17 digs as the Eagles topped 19th-ranked NYU. Five of her aces came in a victory over St. Vincent.
