LOUISVILLE, Ky.- Juniata men's lacrosse goaltender Justin Toney was named to the USILA Team of the Week for the week of February 27th. It's the first time an Eagle has received the honor.
He places on the team following his performance in the men's lacrosse team's 9-8 victory over Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday, the first home victory in the program's history. Toney posted a .742 save percentage in the contest with 23 saves, including five saves in the final five minutes to help in holding the 9-8 lead. He also holds the fourth-best save percentage in DIII men's lacrosse with a .719 save percentage.
The men's lacrosse team is back in action at Gibbel Stadium tonight as they host Penn College at 7:30 pm.
