HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Junior Brian Scholly (State College, Pa./State College) of the Juniata men's basketball team was voted to the Capital One Academic All-District First-Team. He is the first Eagle under head coach Greg Curley to earn the honor.
Scholly is studying history and secondary education with intentions of being a high school history teacher. He has maintained over a 3.6 GPA while leading the Eagles in points, field goals, and three-point and free throw percentage. Scholly has averaged over 20 points per game in the past two weeks and recently scored a career-high 34 against Susquehanna.
The 6-4, junior forward is one of five Landmark student-athletes to be recognized. He and the Eagles battle at home against Goucher, Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m.
