TOWSON, Md.- Juniata field hockey standout, Nicole Piccioni (Richfield, Pa. / Midd-West) was named the Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Piccioni helped the Eagles to their first Landmark Conference win of the season over Moravian, Saturday. Piccioni earned her first career shutout as she made eight saves in Juniata's, 1-0 win over Moravian. This is Piccioni second Landmark Athlete of the Week nodd this season. 

Piccioni and the Eagles host, York (Pa.), Wednesday October 2nd at 7:00 pm.
