Three Eagles Named to Landmark Field Hockey All-Decade Team

TOWSON, Md.- The 2016-17 season marks the 10th year anniversary for the Landmark Conference. To help celebrate, the Landmark featured individuals that have stood out over the past 10 years. The Conference announced its All-Decade Team for field hockey and three Juniata players were selected. They are Sarah Bilheimer (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom), Emma Dahmus (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin), and Megan McGlone (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh).

 

Bilheimer was a member of the field hockey team from 2012-2015. She was named to the All-Landmark First Team twice and was a Second Team honoree two times. Bilheimer helped the Eagles to a Landmark Championship in 2014 and was named Player of the Year in 2015. A three-time Landmark Academic Honor Roll selection, Bilheimer received the Landmark's Senior Scholar Athlete award in 2015. In her senior year, she was named a Second Team All-American by both Synapse Sports and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. Bilheimer finished her career with 46 goals and 25 assists. 

 

Dahmus was an Eagle from 2010-2013. She earned all-conference first team honors in 2012 and 2013 and was named to the second team in 2011. She was named to the Academic Honor Roll in all three years she was eligible, and was honored with the conference's Senior Scholar Athlete award. Dahmus finished her career with 17 goals and 15 assists.

 

McGlone played from 2008-2011. She was named to the All-Landmark First Team all four years, and was named Defender of the Year in 2009. McGlone was a member of the Eagles' championship teams in 2008, 2009, and 2010 and was a three-time Academic Honor Roll selection. She finished her career with 10 goals, 13 assists and 17 defensive saves, which ranks fourth in the Landmark record books.
