DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Team as voted on by representatives from the region's member institutions. Senior forward Sarah Bilheimer (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) was named to the Second Team.
Last month, Bilheimer was named the Landmark Offensive Player of the Year and to the First Team. She was also selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region First Team and was named a Second Team All-American by both the NFHCA and Synapse Sports. She was a three-time Landmark Player of the Week in 2015.
Bilheimer completed one of best seasons in the history of the JC field hockey program. She scored 21 goals and assisted on 10 others for a total of 52 points. Her goals and points rank as the third best in a season for the Eagles. She scored a career-high four goals versus Goucher on October 24 which ties for the second-most in a game and tallied four assists against Drew on September 26 that is tied for the most ever in a contest.
