Huntingdon, Pa., Junior Forward Sarah Bilheimer (Bethlehem, Pa. / Freedom) was named the Landmark Conference field hockey offensive player of the week earlier today. Bilheimer has been a key cog on offense for the Eagles. She is currently second on the team in goals with five and is the team leader in assists (6).

Bilheimer had a big week for Juniata, scoring big game winning and tying goals this week to help lead the Eagles to victory. On Wednesday, she scored what would be the eventual game winner on a goal just before the half to put Juniata on top 2-1. Facing conference rival Scranton on Saturday, Bilheimer scored her fifth goal of the season with 1:48 left in regulation to send the game to overtime. The Eagles would score again in double overtime to win the game and move to 2-0 in conference play. Bilheimer was all over the field against Scranton and was constantly pushing the ball into the Royals zone.

Juniata is now 8-2 and will host Alvernia in a nonconference match at home on Wednesday. Game time in Knox Stadium is set for 7 pm.
