FIELD HOCKEY WINS SIXTH-STRAIGHT WITH 3-0 VICTORY OVER YORK COLLEGE

YORK, Pa. – Freshman Paula Price (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) picked up the first hat trick of her career to lead 15th-ranked Juniata College to a 3-0 win over York College, Thursday night in York, Pa.

All three of Price's goals came in the first half. She picked up her first goal, and what proved to be the game winner, with 22:35 remaining in the first half when she tipped in a shot taken at the top of the circle by Erin Smith (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra).

Price stretched the lead to 2-0 with 3:08 left in the opening frame with a goal off a pass from Kim Wagner (Middletown, Pa./Middletown). She completed the hat trick just one minute and 44 seconds later when she deflected Heather Hassinger's (Middleburg, Pa./Middleburg) penalty corner hit into the Spartan goal.
