Grapin Named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa.- Juniata football standout Michael Grapin (Springfield, Pa. / Springfield HS) was named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week after his excellent performance against Moravian helped the Eagles to their first victory of the season.

The freshman from Springfield, Pa., had a strong day leading the defense with a team-high eight tackles to go with his sack, three TFLs, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. 

The last Juniata football player to be named Centennial Defensive Player of the Week was Ryan Bologa '17, who won the award after a win over Dickinson. 

The Eagles return to action following the bye week at Franklin & Marshall, Saturday, October 16th at 1:00.
