HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Kickoff '16 - the Centennial Conference's annual football preview day - is set for this Wednesday beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.
The Centennial's 10 head football coaches will be on hand to talk about their prospects for the upcoming 2016 season. In addition, each school will also bring a student-athlete to add to the day's events.
Kickoff will begin with a State of the Conference address by Steve Ulrich, Executive Director of the Centennial Conference. Juniata head coach Tim Launtz along with senior wide receiver Kirby Breault (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) are scheduled to take center stage at 12:10 p.m. for a 10-minute sit-down conversation with Executive Director Ulrich. This portion of the Kickoff will be live-streamed at: http://www.centennialconference.tv.
In addition to the formal sit-down portion of the event, the coaches and players will also take time to answer more light-hearted questions. Fans can participate by sending questions in advance via Twitter, using the hashtag #CCKickoff16, or to the Conference's Facebook page. This informal portion of the Kickoff will be live streamed on Periscope and portions of the interviews will also be on Snapchat (@centennialconf) and Instagram (@centennialconf). Breault and Coach Launtz will be on at around 11:50 a.m.
