SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The women's track & field team competed at the Susquehanna Indoor Challenge, Saturday.

The 4x800 meter relay was the Eagles top finish of the day, the team of Meaghen Stewart (Greensburg, Pa. / Hempfield), Yanibel Collado (Freeport, N.Y. / Forest Hills), Grace Alexander (Mifflinburg, Pa. / Mifflinburg), and Azia Kalil (Methuen, Mass. / Methuen HS) took first place finishing with a time of 10:08.43. 

In the 4x200 meter relay, the team of Corey Atkinson (Waynesboro, Pa. / Waynesboro), Julia Freimuth (York, Pa. / Cedar Cliff), Stewart, and Faith Nichols (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Taylor Allderdice) placed 10th with a time of 1:59.14. In the one mile run Kalil finished 13th with a time of 5:42.49 while teammate Allyson Kopera (Hastings, Pa. / Northern Cambria) finished 21st with a time of 5:55.10. 

Abbie Echard (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) finished 25th in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 12:04.38. In the 60 meter hurdles, Walshaw-Wertz finished 13th with a time of 10.10. In the 60 meter dash, Sabrina Kelly (Gilberstville, Pa. / Boyertown Area HS) finished 29th with a time of 9.81. In the 60 meter dash, Kelly finished 29th with a time of 9.81. In the 400 meter dash, Freimuth finished 34th with a time of 1:13.75 and Atkinson finished 38th with a time of 1:13.75. 

Collado had a great finish in the 800 meter run, finishing in fifth place with a time of 2:28.07. In the 800 meter run, Jessica Aragon (Bridgeport, Conn. / Central HS) finished 46th with a time of 2:56.15 while Lydia Heishman (Keezletown, Pa. / Spotswood High) finished 3:06.01. In the 200 meter dash, Nichols finished 29th with a time of 29.01, Freimuth finished 46th with a time of 30.60, and Kelly finished 59th with a time of 34.36. In the 5,000 meter run, Rebecca Herwig (Somerset, Pa. / Somerset Area HS) finished 17th with a time of 22:10.33. 

In the 4x400 meter relay, the team of Alexander, Kopera, Nichols, and Stewart placed 12th with a time of 4:28.50. 

On the field side of things, Kylie Orndorf (Milheim, Pa. / Penns Valley) placed 18th (11.64m) in the weight throw while Marylauren Davignon (Huntingdon, Pa. / Huntingdon Area) placed 36th (9.05m). Meadow Walshaw-Wertz (Sunbury, Pa. / Line Mountain) placed 19th (4.59m) in the long jump. In the triple jump, Walshaw-Wertz placed 21st (9.40m). 

In the shot put, Orndorf placed 20th, throwing 10.07m while Davignon placed 40th, throwing 7.97m. 

The Eagles return to action February 16th for the Susquehanna Invitational.
